KC Weekend

Since Nate was in Russia, the kids and I went to KC to see the Larson's for a few days!  Love that they are so close to us now!!  It was HOT, so spent lots of time at their pool and even had a water balloon fight!

Vacation Bible School

Mia had a great week at VBS!  And, is of course still singing all of the fun songs she learned!

Happy 175th Birthday John Deere!

John Deere turned 175 years old this month!  All of the locations had huge birthday parties to celebrate this milestone.  We had a great time at the Des Moines Work factory party last weekend.  It was a green and yellow extravaganza, with over 10,000 people in attendance.  Even the kids bounce houses were green & yellow! Sam was especially in heaven, getting to crawl all over the equipment!

Misc Summer Fun

We are having a fun and busy summer so far!  Mia is taking 6 weeks of swim lessons & gymnastics, which she is loving.  She can swim and now they're working on perfecting her form & learning new strokes.  We are enjoying lots of time poolside and both kids are turning into little fish.  They would be at the pool all day, every day, if I'd let them!  We're also enjoying lots of time with our neighbors and fun summer festivities with our friends.  What a great time of year!!
