Easter Bunny's & Egg Hunts

Mia's school had an Easter Egg hunt on Thursday, including a visit from the Easter bunny!  We also took a visit to the mall to see the Easter bunny again and ride on the train.  Both kids loved the big bunny!!  Weren't scared a bit!  Kids also had fun at the Waukee Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning.  The rain stopped just in time!!

Gymnastics

We went to Urbandale Gymnastics last week with Moms Club and the kids had a ball!

Mia loved the big trampoline and was doing some pretty fancy tricks.  I may get her signed up for gymnastics this summer, as I think she'd really love it.

We kept Sam in the "big kids" group and he was able to hang just fine.  As a matter of fact, he was the first one to jump overboard in the foam pit and was even doing trust falls...backwards.  Now why am I not surprised?!!

Sam turns "2"!!!!

I can't even believe that my baby is now "2" years old!!  It's been a fast (and very busy!) few years!!!  We celebrated Sam's birthday with a train party at our house and had family and friends over to help us celebrate.  We ate, played, did a pinata, opened presents & got to spend a lot of time outside in the 60+ degree temps - virtually unheard of for early March!!

B-ball & B-day

My extended family was in town the weekend before Sam's birthday.  Cousin Max had a basketball tournament, so everyone made the trip into town to watch him play and help us celebrate Sam's b-day a little early.  

Since Sam's b-day party wasn't until the next weekend, my mom ended up staying for the week, just for fun!  So great having her here!
